PAKISTAN: Strike goes ahead at US$20m export cost

Member mills of the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) observed a nationwide strike today (18 March) against the restrictions on the exports of cotton yarn from the country, with the action estimated to have cost US$20m in textile and garment exports.
